CHINESE TEA CLASSIFICATION
Chinese classification of tea is based on the color of the brewed liquid. There are six types:
- WHITE TEA (Silver Needle, White Peony, etc.)
- YELLOW TEA (Jun Shan Silver Needle, Yellow Bud, etc.)
- GREEN TEA (Dragonwell, Mao Feng. etc.)
- BLUE TEA (Iron Goddess of Mercy, Rock Wulong, etc.)
- RED TEA (traditional black tea in Western classification)
- BLACK TEA (Puer)
